The Congress not only inspires creativity, nurtures pride and a sense of responsibility, but also serves as a motivation for artists and intellectuals to continue creating, conducting scientific research, and contributing to the homeland’s development.

Belief and expectations for renewal

People’s Artist Giang Manh Ha, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association and Chairman of the Dong Nai Literature and Arts (L&A) Association, said:

“During the 2020–2025 term, Dong Nai achieved great accomplishments in all fields, including literature and arts. This foundation serves as a motivation for local artists to further strengthen their trust in the Party’s leadership and the people’s consensus in building a prosperous and civilized homeland.”

“This congress holds special significance as Dong Nai enters a new stage of development and deeper integration. In this context, literature and the arts not only reflect the breadth of life but also help shape cultural identity and promote the image of a dynamic province rich in tradition.

Dong Nai is a place where regional cultural quintessence converges, giving rise to many talented artists and intellectuals. With a strong sense of responsibility, the province’s artists are always ready to contribute their intellect and stand alongside Dong Nai on the path toward sustainable development,” Ha said.

Full of excitement and high expectations for the Congress, young writer Le Phan Hieu Anh from the Literature Department, Dong Nai L&A Association, shared:

“Our young generation is deeply aware of our responsibility to inherit and carry forward the province’s cultural and artistic traditions. I hope this Congress will introduce new policies to nurture and develop young talents, creating more opportunities for the youth to express their creativity and bring works that truthfully reflect people’s lives and aspirations closer to the public.”

According to writer and teacher Bui Thi Bien Linh, a former teacher at Phuoc Binh High School (Phuoc Binh Ward), the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is not only a major political event but also a significant milestone for the newly merged Dong Nai. “This is an opportunity for the province to establish strategic orientations, effectively harness the potential and strengths of each locality. I also expect the Congress to ignite the aspiration for development, focusing on improving human resources quality, especially through practical policies for students, to help the young generation realize their dreams and ambitions,” she said.

Sharing the same view, Phan Thanh Tuan, MSc, lecturer at Dong Nai University of Technology, noted: “Dong Nai has been strongly investing in science–technology and education. I believe the Congress will adopt new policies to boost research and innovation, while guiding educational institutions to develop in line with digital-era trends. At the same time, more attention should be paid to the well-being of teachers through practical support policies so they can work with peace of mind. In particular, a comprehensive provincial development strategy will help Dong Nai rise to new heights, meeting the expectations and trust of the people.”

During the 2020-2025 period, Dong Nai’s artists created over 30,000 works across 10 disciplines, with hundreds winning gold and silver medals, as well as provincial, regional, national, and international awards. The Dong Nai L&A Association currently has nearly 100 members recognized by national-level associations

Creative momentum from the Congress

As Dong Nai enters a new phase after the merger, the role of intellectuals and artists becomes even more vital. Through their works and research, they not only reflect social life but also nurture cultural identity and inspire aspirations for progress among the people.

Dr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province, said:

“The new Dong Nai is a land full of potential, where cultural, scientific, and artistic values converge and spread. Amid growing globalization and cultural exchange, promoting the creativity of intellectuals and artists will be a key driving force. Investment policies for scientific research, digital technology, and the preservation of traditional cultural values, alongside cultural diplomacy and people-to-people exchange, will help Dong Nai build a sustainable foundation, enhance its image, and foster international integration.”

According to People's Artist Giang Manh Ha, the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is an opportunity for the entire provincial Party organization to reflect on its past journey and open a new vision with strategic and breakthrough directions.

“From literature, music, fine arts, theater to cinema, all are guided by a common goal: to advance economic development in tandem with cultural growth, improve both material and spiritual well-being for the people, and foster well-rounded, friendly, and compassionate citizens of Dong Nai."

“This congress demonstrates the Party’s deep attention to culture and the arts. Artists in Dong Nai have been creating numerous works in the service of political missions, viewing culture as one of the key pillars alongside politics and the economy.

To meet that responsibility, artists must continually innovate, commit themselves, and explore new ground to produce distinctive works that capture the breath of life and the spirit of Dong Nai’s land and people.

Culture must return to its grassroots, align with the congress’s resolutions, and blend with major projects such as Long Thanh International Airport,” Ha emphasized.
