In her closing speech, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh said that during the session, based on proposals and draft resolutions submitted by the Provincial People’s Committee as well as appraisal reports from the provincial People’s Council committees, the provincial People’s Council held discussions, shared opinions, and unanimously approved 13 resolutions with full consensus from its deputies. These resolutions provide a comprehensive, consistent, and continuous legal framework, leaving no legal gaps in the implementation of regulatory documents across the province after the administrative restructuring, while also aligning with current local realities.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh requested that after the session, the Provincial People’s Committee promptly organize the implementation of the resolutions passed. At the same time, it must pay close attention to the recommendations raised in the appraisal reports by the People’s Council committees as well as the discussions at the session.

She further stressed the need to direct relevant departments to urgently review and assess the implementation of resolutions previously issued by the former Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provincial People’s Councils, particularly those related to special mechanisms and policies. This will enable timely submission to the Provincial People’s Council for the issuance of administrative documents to decide on the application or annulment of existing legal documents, or the promulgation of new legal documents. These efforts aim to ensure legal consistency in the locality after the administrative restructuring, allocate adequate resources, and implement effective measures to bring the newly adopted resolutions into practical life.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh also noted that from now until the end of the year, both the People’s Council and the People’s Committee face numerous tasks. Therefore, she called on the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the committees of the People’s Council, and all People’s Council deputies to maintain and enhance their sense of responsibility, actively contribute practical, well-grounded opinions to the Provincial People’s Council, particularly in oversight, verification, and the preparation of proposals, draft resolutions, projects, and reports for upcoming sessions. These must ensure quality and effectiveness, comply with central regulations, closely align with local realities, and meet the aspirations of the people in the new context
