Youth at the forefront of safeguarding Party’s ideological stronghold

With firm faith in the Party and in President Ho Chi Minh, the youth of Dong Nai have been at the forefront, resiliently safeguarding the Party’s ideological stronghold in the digital era. Proud to live in the Ho Chi Minh era and advance into the era of national rise, young people are day by day spreading the values of patriotism and fostering a spirit of commitment within society.

Not standing outside the flow of the times

Nguyen Minh Kien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee, and Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union said: “As a young person living, studying, and working in the Ho Chi Minh era - the glorious era of the Vietnamese nation, I, like other Youth Union members and young people, deeply feel the pride, honor and great responsibility entrusted to us."

"With deep respect for history, many young people in the “arduous yet  heroic East” region have clear ideals and steadfast courage. They choose meaningful paths in life and are worthy of being the vanguard force that inspire others to build a prosperous, civilized, and happy homeland.

According to Nguyen Minh Kien, the responsibility of young people goes beyond awareness. It must be shown through concrete action, ambition, strong political resolve, and a proactive, committed attitude in service of the common good. The youth across the province are clear about their missions that are to continuously improve their knowledge and skills, develop the ability to integrate globally, embrace creativity and ambition, and live responsibly toward themselves, their communities, and the nation. Patriotic young citizens dedicate themselves to their studies, volunteer on distant construction sites to build key projects, compete in factories in labor and production, introduce innovative ways of thinking and working, and strive to achieve prosperity in new rural areas.

Amid unprecedented global developments, young people are eager to expand their knowledge and skills and step into new fields of science and technology.

Nguyen Trong Khoa, a student at Dong Nai University, said, “I am proud to be a Party member while still in high school. My love for my country and my desire to contribute have driven me to reach this point. I am always ready to learn and to engage with the wider world, keeping up with new knowledge and skills, especially in digital skills and digital technology, so I can help Dong Nai develop.”

Nguyen Thanh Hiep, a teacher at Hoa Binh Primary School in Ho Nai Ward, said, “With deep faith in the Party, I strive in my studies and my work to contribute my part to the achievements of Dong Nai’s youth. Young Party members and youth union members in our province always trust the Party’s leadership, especially as we enter a new term in a new era, steadfastly moving forward on the path of building socialism and realizing the goals of a prosperous people, a strong nation, and a democratic, equitable, and civilized society.

Safeguarding the Party’s ideological stronghold in the digital era

In all circumstances, the youth of Dong Nai actively take part in strengthening the Party and the political system, contributing to firmly safeguarding national independence, sovereignty, revolutionary achievements and the core values of the Ho Chi Minh era.

As the country faces new challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, global competition, and increased sabotage from hostile forces, the Youth Union members and young people reaffirm their pioneering role in defending the Party’s ideological foundation.  They do this by thinking boldly, taking initiative, speaking up to defend what is right, acting correctly and spreading positive values across society.

This is not only an important political task but also a concrete manifestation of the mettle, sense of responsibility, and absolute loyalty of the young generation to the Communist Party of Vietnam.”

Since the beginning of 2025, provincial Youth Union branches have maintained core teams to share verified, reliable information, generating 15,000 interactions. Messages from the article “A Future for the Rising Generation” by Party General Secretary To Lam have rallied the youth to devote their efforts to the country’s future.

The Dong Nai Youth Union also launched two peak campaigns to boost social media engagement across its network, attracting over 15,000 participants. Every month, youth branch bulletins feature the Blue Pen column, which shares articles defending the Party’s ideological foundation among all Youth Union members and young people. These materials are widely published online, generating more than 50,000 interactions. At the provincial level, around 400 articles have been posted on the Youth Union’s website, the Tuoi Tre Dong Nai Facebook page, and other dedicated pages; at the grassroots level, more than 1,200 posts have been shared relating to defending the Party’s ideological foundation and countering hostile or false narratives. These activities were intensified during the campaigns commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2, and have continued to gain momentum as the province prepares for the first Provincial Party Congress, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress.
