This is a strength that originates from the people, belongs to the people, and serves the people; the strength of the great national unity bloc under the glorious flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam which was founded, led, and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh.
All the achievements of the Vietnamese revolution have been closely linked to the Party’s correct and wise leadership, as well as the ideology, ethics, and leadership style of Ho Chi Minh. Our Party has always steadfastly pursued the goal of national independence in tandem with socialism; it has creatively applied and developed Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s thought in a manner suited to the country’s realities at each stage, placing the interests of the Fatherland and the people above all else.
Thanks to this, our nation has overcome countless difficulties and challenges; Vietnam has transformed from a colonial territory into an independent, unified country, steadily advancing toward modernization and deep integration, with its position and prestige increasingly recognized on the international stage.
“The task of safeguarding the nation’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; maintaining security, order, and social safety for rapid and sustainable national development; and continuously improving the lives and well-being of the people is our current mandate for action… Looking toward the future, our Party sets the goal that by 2045, on the 100th founding anniversary of the nation, Vietnam will be a strong, prosperous, and happy country. This is the aspiration of the entire Nation, a solemn swear before History and the people,” emphasized the General Secretary.
The Party General Secretary called on the entire Party, people, armed forces, and compatriots at home and abroad to turn this aspiration into reality through concrete, practical actions; to unite, work together, and act in unison; to strive harder, with greater determination; and to fully harness Vietnamese intelligence, creativity, and resilience to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth by the Party and the State, as expected by the people.
