On September 18, Long Binh ward and two communes of Nam Cat Tien and Tan Quan held the first congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) at the commune and ward level for the 2025–2030 tenure.

During the program, the congresses discussed and contributed opinions to the draft political report, ensuring that the core tasks of the commune and ward Front work in the new tenure are closely aligned with the resolutions of the first congresses of the commune/ward Party Committees for the 2025–2030 tenure. The congresses also elected members of the commune/ward VFF Committees, held the first conferences, and selected delegates to attend the first VFF Congress of Dong Nai province for the 2025–2030 tenure.
Specifically, the 1st VFF Congress of Nam Cat Tien commune, 2025–2030 tenure, convened with the participation of 140 delegates representing people from all walks of life. Nguyen Minh Kien, member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee, and Secretary of the Dong Nai Youth Union, attended and delivered his directive remarks at the congress.

During the session, the Congress elected 57 official members (with four vacant seats) to the Nam Cat Tien commune VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 term. At the same time, one delegate was elected to attend the first Congress of the Dong Nai provincial VFF, 2025–2030 tenure.
At its first Congress, the Nam Cat Tien commune VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure elected a Standing Board of five members (with one vacancy) and a Vice Chairman (with the Chairman position remaining vacant).
*The first VFF Congress of the Tan Quan commune, 2025–2030 tenure, took place with the participation of 140 delegates representing people from all walks of life. At the Congress, 61 official members were elected to the Tan Quan commune VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 term. Two delegates were also elected to attend the first Dong Nai provincial VFF Congress, 2025–2030 tenure.
At its first Congress, the Tan Quan commune VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure elected the Standing Board, the Chairperson, and Vice Chairpersons. Bui Thi Thanh Xuan was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Tan Quan commune VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure.
