In line with Government Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP dated August 29, 2025, on providing gifts to citizens in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), communes and wards across Dong Nai organized the distribution of government gifts to residents on September 1.

According to Le Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Long Thanh commune People's Committee, upon receiving directives from higher authorities, the commune People's Committee issued Decision No. 731/QD-UBND on August 30, 2025, on allocating the budget for gifts to residents on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
"The commune approved and allocated an estimated budget of more than VND 8.436 billion from the provincial budget allocated for a specific purpose under Decision No. 1064/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2025 by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for localities to provide gifts to residents on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day," Le Hoang Son emphasized.

At the same time, the Long Thanh commune Party Committee and authorities directed the commune Police to guide residents with VNeID accounts to receive the gifts electronically.
Although preparations had been carefully made even during the holiday, the network system connected to VNeID accounts was overloaded and congested due to the particular circumstances of the holiday period. Therefore, Long Thanh commune instructed the issuance of paper forms for residents to fill out and return to the communal police, who would enter the data and confirm it so that residents could receive gifts as quickly as possible.
By the afternoon of September 1, the Long Thanh commune Police had processed lists covering more than 2,000 households with 6,999 individuals whose bank accounts were linked to VNeID for transfers.
Nguyen Xuan Huy, 72, of Phuoc Hai hamlet, Long Thanh commune, said: Receiving the payment from the Party and the State on National Day was profoundly meaningful.
"Though the gift is modest in value, it reflects the care of the Party and the State for the people. This continues to affirm that, in all circumstances, the Vietnamese people remain united and confident, standing alongside the Party and the State in building the homeland and the nation in the new era," Huy shared.
Not only in Long Thanh commune, many localities across the province, also organized the distribution of the Government's gifts to residents.

In Thien Hung commune, a border locality of the province, local authorities also organized the distribution of the holiday gifts to residents.

To ensure on-schedule disbursement, Thien Hung established 24 working teams in charge of 24 hamlets and made announcements via mass media so residents could receive their gifts on time, carrying great spiritual significance.

After receiving the gift from the Party and the State, Dieu Nghi, a member of an ethnic minority household in Thien Hung Commune, shared with joy: "The gift from the Party and the State is truly meaningful. For each citizen, it is not about the gift's monetary value, but about truly feeling the care and attention of the Party and the State."
* Dinh Quan commune mobilized officials, public servants to support residents
Dinh Quan commune established 27 teams, mobilizing all officials, civil servants, public employees, and semi-specialized officials to help ensure the timely disbursement of Independence Day payments to residents in the locality.

According to reports, all payment points were set up at Hamlet cultural houses with spacious, well-ventilated seating areas, creating favorable conditions for residents to receive their payments in a joyful and upbeat atmosphere.
Having received VND 400,000, Do Thi Hau of Hiep Quyet hamlet, Dinh Quan commune, said happily: "My family has four members hence I've received VND 400,000. I'm going to buy some meat so we can celebrate Independence Day with the children and grandchildren."
* Tri An commune established 19 distribution teams
On the afternoon of September 1, the distribution of gifts to residents was carried out simultaneously at hamlet cultural houses across Tri An commune.

Tri An commune currently has 10,519 households with a total population of 49,931. The Provincial People's Committee allocated more than VND 5.069 billion for disbursement, with 697 households (2,848 residents) receiving support via social security accounts on the VNeID app. Meanwhile, 9,822 households (47,083 residents) collected cash directly at hamlet cultural houses.
The Commune People's Committee established 19 distribution teams across 19 hamlets and arranged suitable locations to ensure residents could conveniently receive the payments. For in-person collection, a household representative presented a citizen ID card or other valid documents at the distribution point to receive the support and was responsible for delivering it to other family members.
The presentation of gifts on the occasion of the nation's major holiday not only reflects the Party and the State's care for the people, but also creates a joyful, unifying atmosphere, strengthening bonds among the entire population during the nation's grand celebration.

From early morning, before the sun was high, many residents had already gathered at the distribution points in Bien Hoa ward, carrying with them a sense of anticipation and emotion.
Ha Ngoc Bich Van, a resident of Dong Nai neighborhood, shared: "When the official news came that the Government would provide holiday support, everyone was overjoyed. This undertaking is not just financial assistance as it's a gesture of care that makes us feel truly appreciated."

Ward leader said: The presentation of gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) reflected the profound care of the Party and State for all citizens. Therefore, the ward had made thorough preparations to ensure that the distribution of gifts for the September 2 holiday proceeded smoothly and safely.
Bien Hoa Ward has more than 71,400 residents, with over VND 7.1 billion disbursed on September 1. Each neighborhood was methodically organized, with officials, police, and volunteers working in close coordination to ensure safety, accuracy, and timeliness.
* Binh Phuoc ward: Schoolyards became distribution sites
Also on the morning of September 1, thousands of residents went to 10 distribution points in Binh Phuoc ward. Eight of the ten points used schoolyards as distribution venues. At Tan Phu B Primary School, although disbursement was scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., residents had already lined up neatly by neighborhood from 7:30 a.m., creating a warm and heartening scene.

Nguyen Van Phuc, head of Phu Loc neighborhood, affirmed: "The ward's policy is to prioritize those with registered permanent residence first, while other cases will be handled properly in the next few days in accordance with regulations. No one is left behind."
Huynh Van Dien, representing a household receiving 13 gift packages, shared: "I arrived at 7:30 and was done by 8:30. I was very happy!"
In Bu Dang commune, the standing militia under the Commune-level Military Command coordinated with local authorities to help distribute the gifts directly to residents.
This undertaking was a meaningful activity that demonstrated the care of the Party, the State, and local authorities, while affirming the sense of responsibility and wholehearted service to the people of the militia force, contributing to spreading joy and creating an atmosphere of excitement on the nation's great holiday.
* The holiday became a festival in Thuan Loi commune
In Thuan Loi commune, the atmosphere of this year's Independence Day was vibrant and warm. The commune has more than 23,500 residents receiving the gift, with a total budget exceeding VND 2.35 billion.

With eight distribution points across the hamlets, the organizational system was tightly structured with participation by the police, the military, the economic office, and hamlet management boards, using electronic resident verification devices (VNeID) to ensure synchronized data.
Tong Thi Binh, a resident of Thuan Loi, cheerfully shared: "Over the past few days, the loudspeakers have been making continuous announcements, and everyone is full of joy. This morning feels like a festival. This year Independence Day is truly the people's holiday."
For the first time, the Government has implemented a nationwide distribution of cash gifts for Independence Day, a historic milestone. This initiative is not only a form of material support but also a powerful message affirming that every citizen is a rightful stakeholder in this important national celebration.

Delivering Independence Day gifts directly at home to disadvantaged households According to the leader of Phu Vinh commune, the Commune People's Committee mobilized forces to deliver the gifts to residents either directly in cash or via VNeID-linked accounts. By the evening of September 1, approximately 80% of households in the commune had received their Independence Day gifts.
