Delegation attending the first Dong Nai Party Congress pays tribute, offers incense, reports merits, commemorates heroic martyrs at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery

On the morning of September 29, the delegation attending the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term visited, reported achievements, offered incense, and commemorated the heroic martyrs at the provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery (ward Long Binh).

Attending the ceremony were: Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Dong Nai provincial National Assembly delegation; Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Council; Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province; and Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and delegates attending the congress.

The delegation’s wreath bearing the words: “Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs” was solemnly placed on the memorial monument. Delegates observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese heroic mothers, and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the country’s independence and freedom and for the happiness of the people.

On behalf of the delegation, reporting before the soul of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van stated: The provincial Party Committee, authorities, armed forces, and people have united and strived to overcome many difficulties and challenges, achieving comprehensive results in socio-economic development and national defense-security during the 2020-2025 term.

Dong Nai’s economy continued to maintain its growth momentum, with economic structure shifting in the right direction. The province’s growth rate reached 7.11%/year;  its Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP)  reached 682,412 billion VND; GRDP per capita reached 152.14 million VND/year. Transport, urban, and industrial infrastructure were strongly invested in, creating momentum for regional development…

For the new term, the congress identified the motto: “Solidarity, pioneering, breakthrough, integration, development,” affirming high political determination, great effort, decisive action, and the aspiration of the Party organization, authorities, and people to promote the spirit of unity and consensus “from top to bottom, across all levels,” being proactive, creative, pioneering, seizing opportunities, overcoming challenges, and successfully achieving the goal of building Dong Nai into a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern province.

After paying tribute, reporting achievements, and offering incense, delegates proceeded to light incense at each individual grave in the cemetery.
