A literary and artistic exchange held for officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), as well as the upcoming Party Congresses at all levels in the lead-up to the 14th National Party Congress, on September 20 in Dong Nai, the Training Center of Naval Region 2 coordinated with the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association to organize a literary and artistic exchange program with the unit’s officers and soldiers.

Attendants of the program included: Colonel Tran Chi Tam, Deputy Chief of Staff of Naval Region 2; Colonel Le Hong Quang, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2; Giang Manh Ha, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association and Chairman of the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association.

The program featured a variety of vibrant activities, such as: Exhibition of 80 artistic photos, introducing the image of naval soldiers, the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the beauty of Vietnam and its people, Dong Nai province; presenting more than 3,800 literary and artistic publications to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2; cultural and artistic exchanges, exhibition tours...

According to Colonel Le Hong Quang, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, the exhibition and cultural-artistic exchange are meaningful activities that contribute to enriching the spiritual and cultural life of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2 units. These activities encourage the troops to remain steadfast and resilient, maintain combat readiness, to firmly safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, especially sacred seas, islands, and continental shelves of the Fatherland, while also strengthening military-civilian solidarity in the new situation.
