On the morning of August 11, the Bau Ham Commune Party Committee held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, attended and delivered a directive speech.
Also attending were Do Duc Hoa, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, invited delegates, and 150 official Party members representing the commune Party Committee’s 652 members in total.

The Bau Ham Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Party Committees of the former communes of Song Thao, Bau Ham, Thanh Binh, and Cay Gao.

In the past tenure, the Party Committees, authorities, people, and armed forces of the predecessor communes made great efforts to overcome difficulties and achieved comprehensive results. Most targets set in the resolutions of the Party Congresses at the commune level were met or exceeded. Notably, the local economy posted solid growth; annual budget revenue met and surpassed assigned targets; the rural landscape underwent a fundamental transformation with improved socio-economic infrastructure; and cultural, educational, scientific, and healthcare activities received continued attention.
The commune consistently met 100% of annual military recruitment targets, while political security and social order remained stable. Party building and strengthening of the political system were given special focus, leading to significant positive changes and reinforcing public trust in the leadership of the Party and the direction of the authorities at all levels.

With the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Innovation – Development,” the first Party Congress of Bau Ham Commune for the 2025-2030 term demonstrated unity and determination to achieve the development goals of building Bau Ham into a green and sustainable locality. In his directive remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized that, entering the new tenure, Bau Ham has considerable development potential, particularly in agricultural production, with land well-suited for crops such as tissue-cultured bananas for export, pomelos, and coffee. He expressed basic agreement with, and high appreciation for, the orientations, objectives, eight key tasks, and three breakthrough areas identified in the political report, calling them well-aligned with the commune’s potential, advantages, and sustainable development needs in the new phase.
He also highlighted several priority tasks for the commune’s Party Committee in the new tenure, including regularly consolidating and improving the quality and efficiency of grassroots Party organizations, and enhancing the quality of Party members. It is necessary to build a team of cadres, especially leaders, with integrity, competence, exemplary lifestyles, and sufficient prestige to meet task requirements. Political, ideological, ethical, and lifestyle education must be strengthened, along with safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation and countering hostile and erroneous viewpoints. Furthermore, state management effectiveness across all fields should be improved in tandem with substantive administrative reform. Chairman Vo Tan Duc urged the commune’s Party Committee to accurately assess its potential and advantages, make sound forecasts, adopt appropriate policies, define clear goals, and propose synchronized solutions for focused and effective implementation in each sector. He stressed the need to maximize local strengths while leveraging them effectively. He expressed confidence that the Party Committee, authorities, people, and armed forces of Bau Ham Commune, having already achieved unity, must strive for even greater unity; having strong political will, must strengthen it further; having acted decisively, must act with greater decisiveness and efficiency; having succeeded, must achieve even greater successes. All efforts, he said, should be directed toward building Bau Ham into a comprehensively developed and sustainable commune, bringing its people a life of greater prosperity, happiness, and fulfillment, and creating fresh momentum and new opportunities to join Dong Nai Province and the entire nation in entering a new era of faster, stronger, and more sustainable development.
