At the meeting, representative of Nguyen Hue University briefed the delegation on the school’s history, tradition and training program. Accordingly, over 37 percent of the university’s lecturers are post-graduates, adapting the assigned tasks.
The delegation highly appreciated the achievements made by the university during the history of construction, combat and its continuously development in education and training over the past 56 years.
Deputy Rector of Nguyen Hue University hoped that the New Zealand side creates favorable conditions and provides supports for the school’s staffs and students to be trained in the country.
On behalf of the delegation Major General Kelly thanked the university for its warm welcome and expressed his delight at visiting the school. He suggested the school’s leaders for discussion to reach a cooperation agreement on personnel training cooperation for Vietnamese Army, contributing to fostering friendship, solidarity, cooperation and development between the two countries.
