The event was attended by Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh, Vice Governor of Gyeongnam province Ryu Soon Hyun and RoK’s Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Park Noh Wan.
Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh stressed that the cooperative and friendship relations between two provinces have constantly developed over the past 20 years, adding Dong Nai wish to welcome more investors from RoK and Gyeongnam as well. Dong Nai authorities will create the most favorable conditions for investors to do business in the province as a beautiful symbol for the relations between two sides, he added.
Vice Governor Ryu Soon Hyun said that the 20 year relationship between Dong Nai and Gyeongnam has seen new progress, bringing substantive benefits to the people of both provinces. He also expressed his belief that the traditional friendship and cooperation between two sides will be incessantly consolidated and developed more strongly.
For his part, RoK’s Consul General in HCM City Park Noh Wan congratulated the 20th anniversary of establishment of friendship and cooperation between Dong Nai and Gyeongnam. He emphasized that the two provinces’ relations will contribute to strongly promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. He expressed his hopes that the traditional friendship between the two localities will be further consolidated and developed in the time to come.

At the ceremony, Dong Nai’s five individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the Governor of Gyeongnam province. On this occasion, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh also presented certificates of merit to two collectives and three individuals in Gyeongnam province for their contributions to the relationship between the two provinces over the past time.
The same day, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh and Vice Governor Ryu Soon Hyun signed an agreement on strengthening cooperation in the fields of economics, culture and tourism between two localities.
