The get-together was attended by Head of Commission for Communications and Education under the province’s Party Committee Dang Manh Trung, who is also the President of Dong Nai's Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association, Vice Chairpersons of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep and Nguyen Quoc Hung, President of Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Ngoc Thanh and Deputy Consul General of Russia in HCM city Dmitry Alekseev.
At the gathering, Mr. Dang Manh Trung reviewed the historical value of the October Revolution and highlighted the great influence of the October Revolution on Vietnam’s revolution and development.
Over the past time, Dong Nai province’s leaders have paid their attention on promoting the strength of diplomacy and cooperation activities with many countries and territories. Accordingly, the province has organized two trade promotion programs in Russia this year, he said.
The President of Dong Nai's Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association also hoped that Consulate General of Russia in HCM city would provide further support to promote trade links between Dong Nai with enterprises, localities in Russia, contributing to strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between Russia and Vietnam.
