(ĐN) - In the morning of September 1, Dong Nai province’s leaders laid wreaths and burnt incense at Dong Nai province’s Martyrs Cemetery to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence on the occasion of the 71th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
The leaders included Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong and Deputy Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman Tran Van Tu of the provincial People’s Council, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee, and Chairman Huynh Van Toi of Fatherland Front Committee.
On this occasion, delegations from local departments and agencies, armed forces also paid tribute to the heroic martyrs.
