Addressing at the ceremony, Lieutenant-General Pham Hong Huong, Deputy Chief of Staff under Vietnam’s People Army, and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh highly appreciated achievements and contributions made by the university over the past 55 years.
They also suggested the university to continue its efforts to increase teaching and researching quality as well as lecturers and students to constantly study and train to become outstanding teachers, army officers, contributing to firmly protecting the nation.
On behalf of the State President, Lieutenant-General Pham Hong Huong pinned the first-class Nation Protection Medal in the university’s traditional flag. General Soun Khamlor, Deputy Army Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army, who acted as a proxy for Cambodia's Prime Minister, presented Cambodia’s Friendship Medal to the university and its individuals and collectives for their contributions in training Cambodian army officers over the past time.
