Over the past time, the Dong Nai provincial authorities ensured benefits and policies for nearly 56,300 national contributors, including 10,800 war martyrs and 1,065 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (with 83 of them alive). They also built and repaired 1,683 houses for policy beneficiaries and national contributors in the locality.
Addressing the event, General Can stressed that the whole army's troops would always memorize the great contributions of the province's armed forces and people. He hoped the delegates would believe that troops of the Vietnam People's Army promote their glorious traditions and stand ready to fight and sacrifice for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Previously, leaders of the Department of Policy under the General Department of Politics had met and offered gifts to the delegation.
