(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Council adopted 16 important resolutions during its last session of the 8th tenure, which wrapped up today, December 11.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Van Tu said the three-day session focused its discussions on economic development, national defense and security.
Earlier, the People’s Council deputies spent a half working day questioning authorised agencies and individuals about issues of public concern.
In his closing speech, Chairman asked the People’s Council Standing Committee, People’s Committee, agencies and other relevant units to exercise their authority to bring resolutions to life.
The whole Party, people and forces must stay united to overcome challenges and successfully achieve the 2016 socio-economic development goals and the 2016-2020 plan, keeping the province on track for the next development phase, he said.
