Dong Nai provincial socio-economic and cultural achievements over the past time have been highly spoken of by General Ngo Xuan Lich, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission and Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, at his meeting with the province's leaders on October 21st.

He also underlined the province’s success in building new-style rural areas and stressed that the province deserves the moniker of an economic motivator of the country.
He believed that the province would honour its heroic tradition and promote solidarity and creativity to achieve the resolution rolled out at the province’s 10th Party Congress.
The military political director reminded the province to boost the movement of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples. For army units, he asked them to focus on improving the quality of training and combat readiness to accomplish the mission of national construction and protection.
Earlier the same day, General Lich offered incense to fallen soldiers at the Long Khanh communal temple and Long Khanh martyrs’ cemetery. The Long Khanh communal temple is dedicated to more than 7,000 fallen soldiers while Long Khanh martyrs’ cemetery is the resting place for more than 3,000 fallen soldiers, including more than 1,000 unidentified ones.
