According to Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh, the ASEAN Community will be established on 31 December this year, a milestone in the bloc’s history, creating a common roof for peace, cooperation, connectivity and sustainable development. In response to the important event, the province has planned to organize propagandize and popularize activities to increase public awareness of the importance of the community.
Accordingly, 3 programs will be held including talks with students at four universities and colleges, talks on Dong Nai-40 years of construction and development with the orientation to the ASEAN Community and the launching of the year of the ASEAN Community.
The Chairwoman suggested press agencies to work closely to promote the propaganda and popularization activities on the ASEAN Community to help local people, businesses understand more thoroughly about the community to well prepare for the integration into the community.
