(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Council adopted 18 important resolutions during its 14th session of the 8th tenure, which wrapped up on July 16.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Van Tu said the three-day session focused its discussions on economic development, budget and land management and social welfare.

The session heard a report on the province’s socio-economic performance in the first half of the year and tasks for the remaining months.
The provincial People's Council has received questions from voters, mostly reflecting hot issues. Some of the prominent questions are about the lack of preschools, social insurance debts, land management, resettlement and traffic jams.
In his closing speech, Chairman asked the People’s Council Standing Committee, People’s Committee, agencies and other relevant units to exercise their authority to bring newly-adopted laws and resolutions to life.
The whole Party, people and forces must stay united to overcome challenges and successfully achieve the 2015 socio-economic development goals and the 2011-2015 plan, keeping the province on track for the next development phase, he said.
