A delegation led by the Standing Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, Men Sam An, ended a week-long programme on Aug. 5 in Kien Giang and Dong Nai provinces as part of the third Vietnam-Cambodia co-operation and friendship programme.
A delegation led by the Standing Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, Men Sam An, ended a week-long programme on Aug. 5 in Kien Giang and Dong Nai provinces as part of the third Vietnam-Cambodia co-operation and friendship programme.
At the meeting, participants reaffirmed the tradition of friendship between the two countries and exchanged ideas on organising further exchange programmes.
Kien Giang has signed many co-operative agreements with bordering Cambodian provinces in education, culture and economics.
On this occasion, the Cambodian delegation visited a cemetary in the province's Chau Thanh District to honor soldiers who died during the war and visited Cambodian students who are studying at the Kien Giang Boarding School for Minority Students.
