Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister pays working visit to Donaruco

(ĐN)- Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Yim Chhayly, accompanied by top local and governmental officials paid a working visit to Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Donaruco) on Friday morning.

(ĐN)- Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Yim Chhayly, accompanied by top local and governmental officials paid a working visit to Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Donaruco) on Friday morning.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Xuan Hoe, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG) and Chairman of Donaruco briefed the guests on Donaruco’s activities and the company’s plan to expand the rubber-growing area in Cambodia’s Kratie province. He also informed that Donaruco has so far grown over 3,000 ha of rubber trees in Cambodia and it would strive to grow additional 2,500 hectares of rubber trees in the country this year.

The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister highly praised the business activities of VRG in general and Donaruco in particularly in the country and highlighted that Vietnamese companies has made large contributions to rubber-tree development in Cambodia, which is considered an important part of Cambodia’s economic development strategy as well as their hunger-elimination and poverty-reduction policies for local people. He also affirmed that the Cambodian Government would create the best favourable condition for Vietnamese companies including Donaruco to invest in projects in the country.
