(ĐN)- Dong Nai Children’s Hospital confirmed on Tuesday that a 15-month-old boy died of hand-foot-mouth disease in Dong Nai province. The boy from Bien Hoa city’s Long Binh ward, was admitted to hospital on May 30 with serious complications and died one day later.
The hospital also reported that there were another two children patients under the age of two who died of hand, foot and mouth disease at the hospital from May 28-29.
Currently there is a rise in the case of hand, foot and mouth disease and parents are recommended to take particular care in the hygiene of children and their toys.
