Thieves crack ATM booth in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Two thieves broke open a Techcombank ATM in Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa city on May 3. However, they left before taking any cash.

(ĐN)- Two thieves broke open a Techcombank ATM in Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa city on May 3. However, they left before taking any cash.

The cash machine on Ha Huy Giap Street, Quyet Thang ward was seen to have its door smashed at 3 am. Locals discovered two young men on a motorbike running away from the ATM.

Police said that the thieves may have used a welding equipment to cut the money box.

A Techcombank official said the cash machine contained more than VND600 million in cash.

Police have barricaded the site and are hunting down the thieves.
