(ĐN)- According to the reports, 99.64 percent of voters in Dong Nai province yesterday cast their ballots to select deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People’s Council for the 2011-16 term.
The election took place smoothly, complying with legal procedures. Social security and order were also maintained during the election day.
More than 1.9 million voters cast their ballots at 1,522 polling stations.
The districts of Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Dinh Quan led the province with 100 percent turnout as of 7pm yesterday.
The districts was followed by Nhon Trach district with 99.97 percent; the Tan Phu with 99.85 percent; Trang Bom, 99.75 percent; Long Thanh, 99.6 percent; Long Khanh town, 99.46 percent; Bien Hoa city, 99.29 percent; and Vinh Cuu, 99.08 percent.
