The delegation heard a report from the provincial Election Committee on its preparations to ensure the successful organization of the 13th NA election. Accordingly, Dong Nai has completed a list of candidates and collected voter opinions according to the election law.
Mr. Huynh Chi Thang, Chairman of provincial Election Committee, said that the province also stepped up propaganda activities to help citizens understand their rights and obligations to take part in the election.
Ms. Phong hailed Dong Nai’s preparations for the elections to the 13th National Assembly and the People’s Council for the 2011-2016 period and said that the third round of consultation must be well conducted to ensure that the election will take place in a democratic and lawful manner. She also underlined the need to ensure security for these elections both before and after the event.
