Additional 28 tonnes of farmed fish found dead in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- More dead fish have been reported in the Cai River in Dong Nai; nearly 28 tonnes of carp, red tilapia and breeding fish raised by local farmers in Bien Hoa city’s Thong Nhat ward were found dead on Feb 22-23.

(ĐN)- More dead fish have been reported in the Cai River in Dong Nai; nearly 28 tonnes of carp, red tilapia and breeding fish raised by local farmers in Bien Hoa city’s Thong Nhat ward were found dead on Feb 22-23, according to Mr. Tran Van Sua, Vice Chairman of Farmers’ Association of Thong Nhat ward.

Additional 28 tons of farmed fish died in Dong Nai

The authorities said the polluted water in the river might have contributed to the death of the fish, causing a loss of hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong.

Earlier, Thong Nhat ward authority reported the death of at least 20 tons of fish from farms on Jan 2.
