Delegates at the 11th National Party Congress yesterday voted to elect members for the 11th Party Central Committee, which will consist of 175 official and 25 alternate members.
Earlier they discussed personnel for the committee.
Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, on behalf of the Congress Presidium, chaired the plenary session.
Ho Duc Viet, Poliburo member cum Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and head of its Organisation Commission presented the report on personnel plans for the 11th Party Central Committee.
After discussions, all delegates agreed with the 218-candidate shortlist for official members and 61- candidate shortlist for alternate members for the ballot for the 11th Party Central Committee.
The Congress also elected a 19- member election committee.
