(ĐN)- To mark the 66th anniversary of the Vietnamese People’s Army Day and the 21st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Defense Day (Dec.22), nearly 200 officers and soldiers from Aviation regiment C35 recently cooperated with the Youth Union, the Women’s Association and people in Bien Hoa city to dredge 200 meters of canals and help clean up Hung Vuong Junior High School. For the sixth time this year, the soldiers helped local people to clean up the environment.
Apart from helping local people to clean up the environment, officers and soldiers from Aviation regiment C35 have actively taken part in a range of social activities and charity programmes, such as donating money to help AO/dioxin victims, giving gifts to disabled children and outstanding poor students, donating to the poverty reduction fund of the province, helping social policy beneficiaries, raising money to help flood victims in the northern-central region…
