(ĐN)- On November 4, at the provincial Party Committee’s hall, Dong Nai Newspaper held the 9th “Overcoming the present difficulties for brilliant future" scholarship awarding ceremony. The ceremony saw the presence of Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Deputy General Director of Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco) Nguyen Hung Minh.
(ĐN)- On November 4, at the provincial Party Committee’s hall, Dong Nai Newspaper held the 9th “Overcoming the present difficulties for brilliant future" scholarship awarding ceremony. The ceremony saw the presence of Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Deputy General Director of Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco) Nguyen Hung Minh.
At the ceremony, the scholarships, worth a total of VND200 million, were given to 126 primary school students, 71 junior high school students and three university students in Dong Nai province, each valued at VND 1 million. The scholarship receivers are poor students with excellent achievements in study. The scholarships, funded by Thaco, aim at helping poor students overcome difficulties to study well. This is the second year in a row that Thaco has sponsored this scholarship program.
Addressing at the ceremony, Nguyen Hung Minh, Deputy General Director of Thaco, expressed his hope that the scholarships would help poor students to pursue their dreams, encouraging the students to continue their study for a better future.
