(ĐN)- The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has launched a program entitled “Replacing one million incandescent lamps with compact fluorescent lamps, also known as compact fluorescent light bulbs, for the poor in the southern provinces.
As of October 25, work has started to replace the old bulbs for poor households in Bien Hoa city under this program. The Bien Hoa Municipal Electricity Company in coordination with the city’s Youth Union will implement the installation program. Each household will be given two 18-watt new electricity-saving bulbs. About 1,200 poor households in Bien Hoa city will benefit from this program.
