(ĐN)- According to the information from Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims’ Association, over the first nine months, the association and its grassroots units raised more than VND4 billion from enterprises, organizations and individuals to help AO/dioxin victims across the province.
The money has been used to build and repair 19 houses for the victims; providing loans without interest to help them to develop their production; giving financial supports to 26 AO victims families; presenting “Giving strength to students” scholarships to 276 students who are children of the beneficiaries, offering free medical check-ups and treatment, wheelchairs, Tet gifts to the victims, etc.
