Over the last ten days, Xuan Loc district’s Fatherland Front Committee has raised around VND 40 million and collected goods as relief aid from individuals and organisations in the district to support flood victims. Previously, the committee has sent VND200 million to provide relief for central flood victims.
A delegation from Gia Lam Thien Sanh Pagoda located in Bien Hoa city has visited and offered about VND200 million in cash and goods as relief aid to the victims of the floods. The donations were contributed by Buddhist followers and donors inside and outside the province. The pagoda will give its second relief assistance including rice, instant noodles, clothes, blankets, notebooks and other necessities for flood-hit residents on October 28.
