Dong Nai Farmers’ Association now has 1078 branches across the province with more than 213,000 members.
Over the past time, the association and its grassroots units have make many efforts to promote emulation movements, help farmers to improve productivity and their living conditions. In the first nine months of the year, the association admitted more than 9,000 new members, provided scientific and technical training to some 65,000 members and offered vocational training to nearly 3,000 farmers; over 145,000 farmer households registered to participate in emulation movement for good business and production in this period.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong stressed that the association should continue its efforts to push up the modernisation and industrialisation of agriculture and new rural construction in the coming time.
On this occasion, the association awarded campaign medals and certificates of merit to individuals for their contributions to the association’s development.
