(ĐN)- A total of 72 traffic accidents were reported in Dong Nai in August. The death toll was 22 while 95 others were injured. Compared to the previous month, cases of traffic accident decreased by over 11 per cent, the death by over 9 per cent and the injured by over 7 per cent.
Over 5 per cent of accidents were caused by car drivers, while up to 84% were by motorbike riders and the remainder by other transportation means.
The highest rates of road deaths and accidents were found in Trang Bom and Long Thanh districts, Long Khanh Townlet and Bien Hoa City.
