(ĐN)- Over the past time, a sum of more than VND8.7 billion was raised to Nhon Trach district’s Fund for the Poor to assist poor people and students.
Accordingly, the money was used to build and repair 810 houses for poor households, award 3,860 scholarships and 300 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, present thousands of gifts to disadvantage people.
Besides, the fund spent nearly VND200 million to construct 20 charitable houses to poor and policy beneficiaries in Vinh Cuu and Dinh Quan districts.
