10,000 pigs vaccinated against blue ear disease

(ĐN)- Tran Van Quang, Deputy Head of Dong Nai Veterinary Branch, said 10,000 doses of vaccine provided by China have been delivered to the province on Sept 13.

(ĐN)- Tran Van Quang, Deputy Head of Dong Nai Veterinary Branch, said 10,000 doses of vaccine provided by China have been delivered to the province on Sept 13.

The branch is experimenting on pig farms in Cam My and Trang Bom districts to test the effectiveness of the vaccine. If the vaccine proves safe and effective, it will be circulated more widely.

This was the fifth vaccine against blue-ear disease to be piloted in Viet Nam and it was expected to show greater effectiveness.
