Activities mark Day for AO/dioxin Victims

(ĐN)- To respond to the “Day for Agent Orange/dioxin Victims in Vietnam”, which falls on August 10, Dong Nai Association of AO/dioxin victims has cooperated with localities to visit and present gifts to victims.

Presenting gifts to AO victims in Long Khanh town

On August 4, the provincial association, in coordination with AO Victims’ Associations of Xuan Loc, Vinh Cuu districts and Long Khanh town, presented gifts worth total VND115 million to 287 AO victims in localities. The gifts were financed by the provincial association and localities’ sponsors.

Giving gifts to Vinh Cuu districts AO victims

Earlier, Long Khanh town’s AO victims association visited and gave pigs, cows and goats to four AO victims’ families in Bao Quang and Hang Gon communes.

Offering gifts to Trang Bom districts AO victims

On August 5, the provincial association offered 50 gifts valued at VND400,000 each to AO victims in Trang Bom district.

Chairman of the provincial Association of AO/dioxin victims said that the association would continue its efforts to take care of and alleviate the suffering of AO victims in the province, help them overcome difficulties in life.
