(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the local Museum and Publishing House on Sunday held a ceremony to present four volumes of selected works of late writer Hoang Van Bon to Binh Loi Primary School in Vinh Cuu district.
Late writer Hoang Van Bon was born in 1930 in Vinh Cuu district’s Binh Loi Commune, admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) in 1948. He took part in the resistance wars against the French colonialists and US imperialists.
He won the State Award for Literature and Arts, has two times received literary awards from the Ministry of Defense. Films writen by late Writer Hoang Van Bon have won many national awards, including the Gold and Silver Lotus prizes.

On this occasion, Mrs. Mai Quynh Chi, wife of late Writer Hoang Van Bon presented 6 scholarships worth VND 2 million to outstanding poor students in Binh Loi Primary School. The funding for these scholarships were drawn from the money prize of the State Award for Literature and Arts of late Writer Hoang Van Bon.
