Vietnam Elderly People Association pays working visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- A delegation of Vietnamese Elderly Associations Central Committee led by Chairman Nguyen Tan Trinh paid a working visit to Dong Nai on Jan. 21. Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong welcomed the delegation.

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Tan Trinh highly appreciated efforts made by the provincial Elderly People’s Association and its grassroots units to take care of the elderly in the past time. He also stressed that it’s necessary to build entertainment centers for the elderly, meet their cultural and spiritual demands, help them lead a long healthy and happy life.

On this occasion, Vietnamese Elderly Associations Central Committee honored and presented golden plaques to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet and Mr. Pham Van Ngu for their contributions to the association’s activities.
