According to the report of the provincial Red Cross Association, from 2003 until now, the association has raised approximately VND195 billion to help and offer free medical care for the poor, provide relief for unexpected occurrences, etc.
At the meeting, Ms. Vuong Thi Quyen, former Deputy Director of Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, was elected as Chairman of the provincial Red Cross Association.
