(ĐN)- The Bien Hoa city’s Study Promotion Association held its first emulation congress on study encouragement on Sept 12.

(ĐN)- The Bien Hoa city’s Study Promotion Association held its first emulation congress on study encouragement on Sept 12. The congress was attended by organizations and individuals who have made active contributions to the city’s study encouragement movements.

Established in 2001, Bien Hoa city’s Study Promotion Association has so far developed 31 branches with total members of more than 34,200. From the start, the association’s activities received active supports from local individuals and enterprises. Accordingly, it raised over VND20 billion over the past eight years to help poor students and teachers in the locality. In the coming time, the association will continue to mobilize resources to promote the movement of study promotion in the city.

At the congress, Tan Mai ward’s Study Promotion Association, 16 individuals and collectives received certificates of merit from Vietnam Study Encouragement Association and the provincial People’s Committee. On this occasion, many individuals was given campaign medals “For the Cause of Study Encouragement” for their contributions to the city’s study promotion activities.
