Mrs. Vu Thi Kim Cuc, Deputy General Director of SCB, said that the scholarship entitled “SCB – Lighting the dream of Vietnamese youth” will be carried out in 23 provinces and cities nationwide. Accordingly, 4,140 scholarships worth a total of VND2.5 billion will be presented to poor students from now to the beginning of the school year.
The scholarship fund is the continuation of the programme which started in 2006 to help students from poor families to continue their studies.
