(ĐN)- So far, Cargill Cares Fund has raised VND2.2 billion to finance educational projects, help orphans, disabled and poor children nationwide. In Dong Nai, the fund spent VND1.7 billion to build national standard primary schools in remote areas, construct a bridge in Giang Dien commune and help children in Dong Nai Centre for orphans and disabled children.
In 2009, the fund will continue to implement educational projects, mainly building schools in poor communes and granting scholarships to outstanding poor students.
