(ĐN)- According to information from Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, about VND4.7 billion has been spent to ensure a happy Tet for 15,000 policy beneficiaries in Dong Nai.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2009, Dong Nai Labour Union in cooperation with provincial localities and enterprises has recently presented 380 Tet gifts worth VND250,000 each to poor workers in Sanglim Funiture, Viet Bo, Dong Phuong, Viet Vinh, Dona Pacific, Puosung companies in Bau Xeo and Song May industrial parks.
On January 16, Dong Nai provincial Children Sponsoring Fund gave 400 gifts to poor children and street children in Thong Nhat and Trang Bom districts. Each gift valued at VND150,000 including confectioneries, sugar and milk.
