(ĐN)- Over the past time, Vietnam Public Health Association (VPHA) in cooperation with Dong Nai Public Health Association launched a propaganda program to protect people in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Phong and Trung Dung wards from dioxin polluted food.
(ĐN)- Over the past time, Vietnam Public Health Association (VPHA) in cooperation with Dong Nai Public Health Association launched a propaganda program to protect people in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Phong and Trung Dung wards from dioxin polluted food. After four months of deployment, the program ended successfully. Accordingly, the program provided consultants and assistance to more than 13,000 households living in dioxin hotspots in Bien Hoa city.
Besides, the public health associations held training courses on how to protect local people from dioxin polluted food for medical employees from Tan Phong and Trung Dung wards, where high dioxin levels were found in water, duck and fish. During the courses, the participants have been provided with necessary knowledge and propaganda measures on the effect of dioxin to protect local people from dioxin infection.
