Dong Nai to boost bus service for Tet crowds

According to a report from the provincial Transport Department, local transport companies have prepared enough buses to serve the extra passengers on Tet holidays. Transport companies operate 128 buses that serve 88 bus routes between Dong Nai and 19 cities and provinces around the country. Bus companies will increase the number of roundtrips from the current 60 trips a day to 85 to meet people’s transport needs on Tet holidays.

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh said that heavy fines will be imposed for overloaded buses, illegal buses and bus stations and other violations in order to ensure safe travel during the Tet holidays.
