According to the draft, Dong Nai will strive to attract more 1,000 doctors, 200 pharmacists and 3,000 nurses and midwives in the period of 2009-2011.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman Vo Van Mot said that Dong Nai currently has a large need for well-trained medical staff to meet the increasing health care demand of local people. Therefore, the province’s health sector has to strengthen cooperation in training medical staff and it’s important to retain and attract skilled medical staff in the coming time.
