Dong Nai’s 30 enterprises adopt energy-saving technology

(ĐN)- The Ministry of Science and Technology is implementing a project to raise the energy efficiency use in small- and medium-sized industrial enterprises in 10 provinces and cities. Accordingly, Dong Nai is selected to implement the project. This is a large-scale project funded by the Global Environmental Fund (GEF) through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), making remarkable contributions to the implementation of Vietnams socio-economic development policies. The project will implement 10 pilot energy-saving programs on five industries, including construction bricks, ceramics, garments, food processing and paper. The project also boosts the effective management and use of energies in SMEs. Currently, 30 enterprises in Dong Nai province have adopted energy-saving technology and equipment that enabled them to reduce energy consumption by up to 30 to 50 percent.
