The VND215 billion (US$12.6 million) project will have a pipeline system and ports work with tankers of 50,000 tonnes upwards.The storage will also be equipped with a system to get gas collected from offshore fields for industrial parks.
Once completed, the storage will receive gas from Dinh Co gas processing plant in neighbouring Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in addition to imported gas. The project is expected to be put operation in September 2009.
