4.5 billion VND invested in building and upgrading Thong Nhat district’s communal medical stations

(ĐN)- According to the Health Department of Dong Nai, the provincial health sector has planned to invest 4.5 billion VND in building and upgrading communal medical stations in Thong Nhat district in 2008.

(ĐN)- According to the Health Department of Dong Nai, the provincial health sector has planned to invest 4.5 billion VND in building and upgrading communal medical stations in Thong Nhat district in 2008.

So far, the district’s three medical stations in communes of Xuan Thien, Lo 25, Gia Tan 3 have been upgraded to provide primary health care to local people. The health sector is planning to repair and upgrade medical stations in communes of Gia Tan 2, Hung Loc and Quang Trung as well as build a new one in Xuan Thanh commune in September.

In Thong Nhat district, 7 out of total 10 communal medical stations have doctors. The district strives to reach the goal of ensuring that 100 percent of the districts communal medical stations will have doctors by 2010.
